My name is Kristen Miller-Hahn and I was born and raised in Northeastern, PA. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University in 2012, my LCSW in 2015, and a Certification in Perinatal Mental Health in 2022. I am passionate about helping others on their personal journey toward self-improvement and wellness by empowering them to establish and achieve meaningful goals. I respect each client’s individuality and uniqueness, recognizing the value of one’s personal story, dreams, and potential. I have an eclectic approach and work collaboratively with my clients to foster a therapeutic relationship that is based on the validation of strengths and protective factors, support from family members and other professionals, and the provision of opportunities for growth and skill development. In 2016, after my own experience with PMADs I transitioned my focus on providing resources, support, & much needed advocacy for the mental health of new families. I serve on the PA State Board for Postpartum Support International & work contractually providing oversight to area perinatal programs. My areas of interest and specialty include: Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety, Assertiveness Training, Depression, Grief and Loss, LGBTQIA+, Perinatal Mental Health, Womens Wellness, Self-Esteem, Social Skills Training, and Relationships. I am trained in EMDR. I am accepting new clients with the option of virtual and in person. All in person sessions will include the added benefits of salt therapy at no additional cost.
